The Caregiver view: A high-level technology architecture for Senior Living operators.

In this 3rd of 3 high-level technology architectures, we look at it from the Caregiver employee’s perspective, which is a hybrid of the Resident and Corporate views. It necessarily combines resident facing elements such as clinical care and non-clinical operations, and employee elements such as HR, building access, and security.

As with the previous views, the intent of this representation is to provide operators with an easy-to-digest view to the various elements in the Channels, Services, Systems, and Infrastructure that can make up the technology stack at their community.

Starting from the Caregiver’s perspective and working outward through the Channels used to access Services leads to defining what Systems and Infrastructure are needed to deliver these Services.

Operators can literally pick and choose which services they need to prioritize. From there, the supporting systems and infrastructure can be derived, while looking at the whole view ensures overall alignment and interoperability - important to keep in mind for the future.
